the american vintage store in Downtown Fullerton has got to be the coolest store on the block! i can't get enough of their merchandise... especially their bags and shoes. i bought an antique dooney&bourke purse there for $24, but was sorry to pass on several other choices. if you're ever in the area, be sure to check it out. you won't be sorry.

i loved it.

Tom: Darling. I don't know how to tell you this, but there is a Chinese family in our bathroom.

500 Days of Summer was one of the best romantic comedies I've ever seen. I also recommend you go see it at Arclight Hollywood.

summer's most anticipated

REALLY bummed that I couldn't make to the midnight screening tonight of "500 Days of Summer." Cutest cast ever not to mention a killer soundtrack...what's not to like about this movie?

love her style...i would probably wear everything in zooey's wardrobe.

here comes your man- meaghan smith (this song is one of my faves on the soundtrack. it was originally by the pixies, but I really like her rendition of it. it is adorable.)

one little pause

I wanted to start remembering things.
Just because i started to realize how many amazing things i encounter everyday that suddenly flit away like a piece of lint and become lost in my fuzzy mess of a brain. Once i have some time to stop and think, i usually see all the pretty little things that try to signal a response from me but usually stand opposed to flashier things...like a pretty pair of heels, a funky beat, or a chipotle burrito.
I love soaking in what everyone has to offer, but i kind of wanted to offer some insight too, now that i'm kind of grown up...or so they keep trying to tell me. But i'm a little person inside and i think little people usually talk about the more important things in life anyway so hopefully my grown-up side won't get in the way.
So, anyways, it was hard for me to decide if i wanted to blog...i mean at times, it's suspicious stuff. I don't really like taking in what people have to say about stuff as true fact. And it's cooler to have your own opinions of things rather than pretend someone else's are yours. that is hateful to me. BUT, at the same time, some blogs are interesting and provocative and inspiring. or plainly, they are an exquisite waste of time. either way, it's fun.
let's give it a try.
